Default Help

Looking to paint or put some type of bedliner material on the floor of my boat. I want something that won't get too hot. Any ideas?

Has anyone used Durbak? I just saw their website and it looks like pretty good stuff. It's about $119 per gallon. http://www.durabakcompany.com/marine.htm

What ever you do, do not paint it "white" because there is too much glare. It looks nice when freshly painted but also too hard to keep clean.

Default Hydro-Turf

If you have any cracks in the gel-coat any type of paint may only be a temporary solution.

The paint will allow for some expansion but it will bubble or crack if your gel-coat is in real bad shape. If the paint cracks it will trap moisture and excelerate the gel-coat cracking and possibly allow wood rot and structural issues.

I have used the paint on a few boats, but I would recomend hydro-turf.
