Default Spider ID

What kind of spider is this? They are all over my porch right now. Should I be worried about them biting my kids, and what can I use to kill them? TIA

That's the closest I could get without it getting very blurry.

Kill it. Period. Better to say "I did than I didn't"

Not sure what it is but we only have two spiders in La that are a real concern. Widow and Recluse. That spider is neither. He will help rid your garage of bugs though.

And those won't have a web out in the open like that. They nest in dark nooks and crannys.
That looks like a spiny back orb weaver. They are harmless yet really interesting to see.

Thanks guys. If there's 2 things that scare the crap out of me, it's spiders and snakes..... And I've been having issues with both lately.
