Default Another slow one on Big Lake 3/19

Got a late start due to a conference call for work, so started at 9ish around mid lake. Was greeted to some pretty decent water, and started chunking a mirodine looking for that one big bite. Had my rookie buddy throwing a rattletrap. After a couple hours of fishing hard, I admitted defeat to my buddy who hung two flounder with the rattletrap and I had zero to show for my efforts. We made a move after the wind picked up to the salt ditch and first cast I snag a nice floundoo on a swimming mullet. Thought we made a good move, but only hung a couple more reds on the gulps. I tagged the reds and let em swim another day, being dinner was already in the livewell. By this time its about 1ish and the wind laid back down. Wanted to go try again for some trout but my buddy had had enough. Made a quick stop in the LNG before putting the boat on the trailer and didnt get a bite. That wind laid down pretty good so hopefully someone is tearing them up this afternoon! Have not posted any pics in awhile so here is a couple from today.
