Not really.. If the battery leaks it will mess up more than just the gun. I was a little limited on my boat on where to mount it.

Just curious are there any laws concerning handguns on boats and concealment . Also if you are stopped by wildlife and fisheries do you have to notify.

why keep it under the center console? why not just keep it holstered on your hip? if you need it in a hurry and you are working the trolling motor!!!!
