Forgot to put the plug in bc i was rushing to get in the water on a solo trip. Tied the boat up and went park the truck come back and see the boats sittin a lil low. Hop in and the whole back hatch is full to the top with water. Crank boat up drive up the the launch... So it cant sink. Put the plug in. Get the truck. Pull it back on on the trailer, let all the water drain out. Put plug back in... Launch boat once again. And head to the fishin hole. Lol boyyy i was mad at myself!

One day at the lacassine launch my dad was putting the boat on the trailer, and i was standing there to latch it. Well it didn't come up as far as it was supposed too, and when i went to walk out to latch it well i slipped on the alge on the concret and both my legs came out from under me and splash in the water. There was boats waiting to launch and they all started laughing there asses off along with me.

Saw the boat "my pal too" at cal point throttle onto the pier to stay in place so his buddy could load gear.

Saw a redfish rig last summer at the trout shootout at cal point that was way overloaded with extras and dude was wearing a jean jacket with all types of patches...it was way over the t-top to say the least.

One time we were coming back in at hog island gully from duck hunting in sabine and when i pulled the boat up i misjudged the water on the side and i took a leap off the boat thinking the water was shallow and splash my feet never touched. Talk about come up quick when it's 20 degrees outside and you just baptized yourself.

First time I ever launched a boat, and first day out in my boat, I went to delcambre launch on a Saturday in late April.

If you been there, just imagine that busy little slip with a south wind and me in my 18' tiller getting blown past the entry twice, then trying not to gouge the mean rigs all around me.

Baptism by fire right there!

That's a tough launch even if you can drive a boat with a strong wind

Launching my uncles duck boat that I borrowed to hunt his blind and backed the boat off the side of the ramp. Still had the goidevil strapped to the trailer and the mofo sunk!! Pulled it out to fing that his mojo duck was gone. Went make the hunt and scratched, then got back to the launch to go swimming for the mojo! Found the duck, but he never let me use his boat again!

My dad launched the boat once, along with the trailer and the car..... it was all for my PawPaw too.

Another time he was coming in reached backed to pull the plug to let some water out and hit a pilon, scratched the hell out of the boat.

In an hurry on a solo trip in Venice one weekday afternoon. Backed in 16 foot boat, pushed it easily off trailer, jumped aboard, puttered over to dock to tie it up, stopped to chat with someone, then took off for the trip. Came back four hours later at dark, truck and trailer in same spot, truck still running.

Found a truck like that at Calcasieu Point a couple of years ago, trailer in the water, truck running and no one around. I probably should have parked his truck for him but it wasn't busy so I just shut down his truck so he would not run out of gas. I forget lots of things but I have not done that, YET! HaHa!

18 yrs old , all excited after the morning hunt, and pulling into the parking lot of the sporting goods to get more shells for the nxt day, I hooked a curb at warp speed and flipped my rig on its side in the lot (14x36)with(20hp godevil) and drug it about 20 ft . Before realizing!
A bunch of customers standing @ front counter, and friends that worked there all ran out to see my F u G up!!! Lol

Boy I was mad and even more embarrassed! My adrenaline shot soo high I got out my truck and clean/jerked that beeoooch up rite and rolled right back outa there dragging the the tire and wheel at a 22.5 degree angle!

I've matured a lot since then
