So everyone of us from Texas adjust our weight a few lbs. I agree the fish pictured will be shy of ten lbs. but does that mean everyone from Texas adjust the weight of their fish. That's like saying everyone from La. is 6ft. tall. It just ain't so..........................

When I got to the CAMP Friday there was 100+ people there. I kinda stood back looking around or I should say over everyone. I think Shad was the tallest person before I showed up. |

This is an honest 5.5 lb. trout. Caught on Fools spot.
I am 5'11" and weigh 210 lbs. and have a big green PFD jacket on. It looks almost as big as a 10 lb. Texas trout. |

trout are hard to photo. If 30" long like that guy claims, then its skinny as a rail and gives a distorted view.....and really doesn't look like our fish over here. Most trout here are little footballs....short and fat. Find a 30" trout in big lake and that sucker will weigh 12+ with that football belly.
ETA - but that one from TX doesn't look to be 30" or 10 lbs. |
