Default Rigolets?

Hey guys, a buddy of mine just called and asked me if I knew anything about fishing the Rigolets out of Slidell. He is interested in flounder and reds only so if any of you East siders have any info it would be great. Thanks.

lake catherine is a good spot for reds and flounder. its directly across the rigolets pass when u launch from rigolets marina.
there are many cuts that flow into the ICWW and other small ponds.

I always do good on reds up the pearl river at the first hard bend there is a pool. Drift lake Catherine for specs and fish the bottom of the rigs in lake borgne. Also try out big dee dee and little dee dee of the ship chanel.
