Lookin to get one myself. And ryan I got big hands so it should be alright. Big hands equal big gloves, as they say.

That is the one's im talking about.....they are nice I just don't like the integrated reel seat built into the rear grip. Makes the rear grip too bulky for my taste.

Cumara with Core, or Waterloo with Chronarch are my choice of weapons...got more but thats my go toos.....I dont ever put those two down regardless.....You get what you pay for....I havent thrown any of the other brands except for ASR and Stickems.....So I cant comment on any body elses choice of weapon......Spend the money up front...If it means waiting a week or two etcc..wait...get what you want, dont settle for something less than what you realy want....

You can get the Stick'Em rod and Outcast Baitcasting Reel for $240.00. It makes for a great combo and not to expensive. I got this combo a few months back and love it. If you want a spinning combo you can get a Stick'Em Spinning rod with the Outcast 3000 Series Spinning Reel for about $160.00. Both are great setups for their price point.

I agree, salt water fishing, I use a citica and a 7ft med shimano convergence rod. I have a 7ft trout special American Rodsmith rod that was given to me, I use them two rods for speck fishing. I have a KVD quantum reel that I've used in salt water and I clean it every time I go fishing its the smoothest reel I own and I can cast them further, used it for two years and still works good, but I've gone through some reels before I started buying shimano. a lot of brands have lower end reels that are less then $100 and I've broke a lot of em with in a few weeks of buying them and I've always brought them back and upgraded to something better, with shimano no need to return or upgrade.

plus last year I bought a few shimano reels and fished a tournament with em, the guy I was fishing with told me if I didn't like them, not to return them to the store, he would give me my money back for them.

Shimano = best warranty hands down
However my favorite combo right now is a pfluger patriarch on a bucoo with a 200e7 Curado on a crucial coming in second Fished one time so far with my new Lews tournament speed and it seems really nice. |

O....and ugly stick you never have to worry about needing a warranty b/c they r unbreakable...and the abu you never have to worry about finding cheap parts due to all of them falling apart early in their lifespan.
The latter is just a tip from a well known source: " " |
