went to drop my trolling motor off yesterday afternoon and the guy working was saying that the parkside across from prien lake park has been selling gas with ethanol and has a sign that says ethanol free. He said he has worked on a couple of motors tha have gotten gas there. Don't know if it is true just thought i was pass it along if u get gas there.

I am in the process of switching all my lines over to ethanol resistant. I have also stopped filling up my boat. I only put enough to make it through the day. Use stabil and Sea foam. This gas is giving me fit too.

I'll be doing the same thing next week. New lines and a water separator.

Two boats with a total of 4 carbs between them equals $$$$ out of my pocket.

I'm not much of the entrepreneur type but if someone came up with an oil especially 2 stroke oil that had a built in fuel stabilizer they could make a killing. JS

I don't get it. I have been buying gas all over the place for my boat. Never paid any attention to the ethanol warnings and haven't had any problems. 9 year old motor runs like day one.

All the two-stroke oils for chainsaws, blowers, trimmers, etc have stabilizers mixed in already. Maybe you can stock up on a couple cases for the boat

2 cycle outboard oil will stablize gas longer than plain gas.
But it won't help with ethanol.
