Default Finally have access to Henderson Lake

After patiently waiting for several months for the LWF to do their job, in controlling the LILLIE POPULATION, I am happy to say that the Boulevard and the I-10 cut at the north end of Kern's Pit are finally open to boat traffic. Have A Great Summer.

Wow - that's awesome to see. It's been a long time since we've been able to use that cut. How's the fishing?

When you spray that much herbicide and kill off a large qunatity of aquatic vegetation, the decaying plants take oxygen out of the water and kill fish. I pass over the basin at least once a week and have been watching the vegetation killing. They haven't followed the label instructions when spraying aquatic vegetation, but who am I to call them out. It is a gov't thing. All I know is that if I hadn't followed the label law when spraying the golf course I managed, I would have received a huge fine. Now I sell the chemicals and have to make application recommendations to my customers, in order to not kill all the aquatic life.
