Perfect place for a yak.

What type of advice are you looking for?

Fish the cuts going into the marsh. I used to love to throw a buzz bait out there.

In the fall when the small fronts come through, we used to smoke them on a DOA shrimp.

BOB is a great place to fish! Try small poppers or buzzbaits early and a tx. rigged speed craw or finesse worm later in the day.

10 or so bass and one redfish...

Bass were early @ the powerline cuts, deer-flies flat wore me out !!!

Fished back end of Phoenix, by the ramp... Caught one redfish in there, saw him hanging out with the millions of mullet piled up... Water was super clear, like fishing in an aquarium...

Finished up in the BOB canal, east past the lauch, first cut on the left had plenty of shad getting busted but I couldnt seal the deal... Hot as hell !!!

Used Bandit crank baits (shad color), DOA's and speed craws...

Pic of the first pickle of the day, sorry bout the quality as I was being eaten alive by insects @ the time...

Good luck !!!

Leaving BOB canal, head south and turn into the first big cut on your left....

As you hit "the lake" stay to the right and hug that bank all the way around (middle and left side get skinny quick), it will eventually go into a canal and at the end there is a loading ramp... The water was real pretty and loaded with mullet...Too much mullet IMO...

You guys were parked right in front of me... Glad you had a good trip !!!

Be careful as allot of the "marsh" is private property and is NOT marked well, do a search and you will find the thread... It got pretty heated !!!
