Default Tiger shoal or surrounding areas?

Anybody have any recent reports from tiger shoal? Been out of the loop for awhile making my first trip out sat. (Hopefully weather permitting)

Water is beautiful in the bay right now but it looks like some west wind on the way. I will be fishing Thurs & Fri am then heading south for the big boys:tuna, grouper, ling , dolphin & wahoo.

Is a west wind good or bad in VB? I was thinking it would be ok since the fresh water comes into the bay from the east. Am I thinking correctly on that?

I've heard that. pushes all the fresh water out of the atchafalya back east. Same goes for the reefs and tiger shoal. Sopossedly the best wind is the southwest wind for water clarity.

Ran out that way tuesday afternoon in the pm. Was headed to t butte, almost got there and my motor decided to quit sucking earl. Ended up turning around and fished a few spots while limping back to the landing. Water was nice just about everywhere, lil greener on the outside though.

When the river is this low it would take lots and lots of east wind to make it fresh, west wind seems to muddy it up but bring salinity up, right now east winds clear it up. Usually when river is above 8ft at butte larose east winds are the devil.

Caught these in that area, but was last weekend in May. Haven't been since but I have a buddy at work who has made a stop at the platforms there about once a week since and hasn't done very well.

Was out today. The west wind had the water messed up on the rigs I like to fish. Still scraped out 37.
