All Good On The DU!
Nov. 21......Trout on fire with easy limits! We arrived at our hotspot at daybreak and watched an incredible sunrise. Darren Barre & Steve Bergschneider fished with me and had the time of their lives. The bite started out fast & furious with doubles every cast with the LSU chubs wrecking havoic on the yellowmouths. The bite tapered off and we made a move with the same results. The guys were having a ball reeling in trout every cast until Darren hooked up with 2 big reds on the double rigged chubs. He fought the reds for 15 minutes on light tackle and it took us away from catching the schooling trout. Eventually the line broke and the 2 reds escaped. Back to the trout and we found several more redfish mixed in with the yellowmouths. The fish were caught in 2-4 ft of water and were feeding on small shrimp. No problem catching 75 trout and added 4 redfish and back at the Lakehouse for 9:45 a.m. Steve & Darren said they'll be back soon to do the DU! Good luck fishing. Capt Bill Lake 985-637-3712
