Default Lake P 12/17

I made an afternoon trip the the causeway today. I launched from Bonnabel and headed to the second hump from the south shore. The water was dirty and I only had 2 bites there. I moved all the way across the lake before the water looked pretty, right around the big drawbridge. Fished for about an hour here and picked up 15 nice trout and a big flounder.

Dang shame all the decent water is on the north shore or really mid shore. No place for those with small boats.

No traps on this boat. Jigging the pilings with a 1/2oz jighead. They wanted the blue moon color this day.

Well as of right now I'm on call this weekend but I may try to sneak out there Sunday for a little bit. It's going to a bad north wind all day Saturday but a south wind on Sunday.

I was gonna go tomorrow but the wind might keep me closer to home.
