the bcs was designed to put No. 1 vs No. 2. The rest is tie-ins and all money related...i remember a few years ago when the Orange Bowl had Louisville and Wake Forest. Gross!

I will probably watch the SEC Championship, Capital One with LSU, and then the National Championship game ..... I really not interested in the rest, but if it was a playoff system, I would watch every game, because each one would matter.
