Default Awesome Knife

This past weekend, my girlfriend and I went out to a friend’s deer lease to sight in rifles for deer season. I got mine sighted in with 2 shots so I was good to go. My friend’s girlfriend recently had a gun given to her by her uncle. We tried and tried to sight in this rifle but it was not holding a steady pattern. We finally came to a conclusion it was the scope. During this sighting in process we were shooting targets that were held to a tree with my Smith and Wesson ExtremeOps knife because we forgot to bring nails and a hammer. We were sighting in rifles at 100 yards. My friend’s girlfriend ended up shooting my Smith and Wesson ExtremeOps knife at 100 yards with a 130 grain Remington core lokt .270 bullet. The results of the knife are attached.

Might not be the scope. Had a problem with a 6 mm years ago. It only liked 100 grain Remington's and nothin else. Flung errything else all over the paper.

I had a problem with my 270 a couple years ago. Figured my scope was shot. I was trying a box of high price bullets. Lucky I had a few cheap bullets in gun case. Load a couple of those in rifle and it was dead on and you could cover the 2 with a quarter at 100 yards.

Tell girlfriend to ask her uncle what he used and ask if it was dead on. If he said it was a tight group, shoot what he was using. Betting you'll be all right. I bought some federal loads to save money and couldn't hit **** with em'.

Different guns like different bullets.

I have fought this with several guns and it can be several problems.
Will the gun shoot any sort of group. If not start by making sure the base and mounts are tight and clean the barrel of the gun using a bore brush and a good bore cleaner.

I'll let her know to try different ammo. She loves the core lokt bullets though. The scope mounts and base are tight. Tightened them to specs. Gun was cleaned up a local gun smith.
