Default New Ducks on 11/9

Went to the marsh by 4 mile square today and saw plenty of ducks. End of last week there were enough in the marsh to hunt, but now we have enough to be choosie. Lots of Greys and Tails with a few widgeons. Still have teal but looks like we may not have to shoot em. Even saw the first couple of flocks of "buzzards". You know when you start seeing snows the ducks should be coming. Won't get a chance to hunt down here till end of the week but 4 mile should kill good.

Had the first woodcock this fall buzz over my head this evening. The 100-200 robins that are around turned into 1000+ today. Speck numbers have been increasing everyday. A few snows showed up last week. Grays still around but not many greenwings yet. Wood ducks numbers seem to have dropped. I only saw around 30 tonight, 3 weeks ago I was seeing around 75. Water is very low and likely the cause. We need rain bad. Our opener is the 19th.
