Default Anyone have a revo stx

Do any of y'all have an older revo stx? My worm gear has worn down on mine, and I can't figure out how to change the darn thing. Looks like I need to take the front face plate thing off before I can unscrew the cap that covers the worm gear, but I can't figure out how to take it apart. I tried taking off the handle and all of that assembly as well as the screws and thumbscrew. I think my reel may just be stuck together but I want to make sure before I start forcing things.

This is the reel I'm looking to take apart not the newer silver ones. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1388348269.826981.jpg

An this is the front plate I'm trying to figure out how to take off

It's kind of hard to see but that cap with the flathead screwdriver top is behind the face of the reel.

If no one knows, I wouldn't mind bringing it somewhere to be fixed, but I don't know anyone in Lafayette who does that.

Will do... I'd be pissed if they didn't. Anyone else in the area works on them?

http://http://www.mikesreelrepair.co...e.php?pid=5337 Mikes reel repair has drawings for old and new. I am not sure if you have a gen 1 or 2. I usually have to copy the pictures and start enlarging to see what you need.
