Default Peecan Island

Hit up pecan island in vermillion corp this morning....fog delay till 9 am. Finally got on the water fished several canals with no bites. My favorite canal is silted in pretty bad didn't want to chance it with the falling tide. Too bad I could not make it guy I talked to at the landing caught their limit of redfish in that canal. We ended up with 1 huge flounder and 4 nice blue cats all caught on gulp swimming mullet. Talked to another guy that filled up 2 ice chest with big blue cats, time to bust out the jug lines. Water was very muddy and fresh. Sorry no pics my camera got wet and it is fried...too cheap to pay for data plan on the cell phone.

Thanks for the report on Verm Corp! That really sucks no bites. Indeed, water was muddy almost everywhere on canals.

Went to Whiskey Bay yesterday. Muddy water and very high. Not a bite, but was able to run the boat to get ready for the fishing season. Good to be out.
