Default Reds and more Reds

Well I could not stay off the water any longer so with the forecast for Sunshine on Sunday I had to go. Weather and water was not right for trout so why not get some reds. Well we were in them thick. Must have caught over 40 reds but had trouble getting 10 of them that were not over 27 inches but finally did. All caught on gulp. Finished in time to have lunch at Darrells.

Cleaned the fish at Cal Point. Them pelicans there are a pain in the arse. Had to have my partner(wvidrine) keep them at bay with one of the water hoses. They were attacking for some fish. They were quite bold. I dubbed him...The Pelican Sprayer!

well if with those photos you don't know where they were caught.... could that mean there are people that have never fished that area before and can not identify a place they have never been to just from a picture? hmmmm?

Last time I was there we were cleaning fish and there were 3 pelicans standing right next to us and this guy threw a skeleton just over the head of one of those pelicans into the water. The pelican was right on the edge of the dock and he lunged his head back to try and catch the fish in the air and fell off that dock straight back into the water. I almost pizzed myself laughing

I am sure that was funny but when they are trying to get on the cleaning table to eat your clean filets it ain't so funny. Now blasting them with the water hose to keep them at bay is pretty funny.
