Radiator is around 150-200 for aftermarket, transmisson flush is 70-100 bucks. Don't see the need to flush the radiator if your changing it....

Sounds like you had a leaking trans cooler inside the radiator.

Most are at $80+/hr now. $700 is pretty reasonable.

I would have been ready for a cool $1k for a new radiator and all of the flushes. Did they have to change the filter in the tranny also? I think that is about right, but I will check w/ my paw-n-law since he owns a shop and is the lead on transmissions.

I had the same problem on one of my trucks a few years ago, in less than 2 months my transmission gave out which costed me $2500 to fix. I traded it in on a new one.

Thanks guys,
I was stuck in Clarksville Texas at a ( how should I put it abdullah was at the desk)
The good part was the chevy dealer was 2 miles away.
The bad part the rental car place was 88 miles OUT of my way. Did talk to the owner of the chevy dealership and he said the deer around the area are BIG!! He has 10k acres showed me some pix and got me pumped!
I can't draw a bow yet but I can hunt with a xbow during the archery season this year I'll be there this weekend!!!!!

The only problem is I'll miss the UL/Troy game... I know my SaltyCajun brothers will keep me posted????
