Default Hot Beaver

2nd dead one I've seen on highway 90 by the bridge that runs over a small drainage ditch. Didn't realize we had them here in Sulphur....

BTW the title gotcha huh

Ok so here was series of thoughts/ actions when I read the topic:
1) HOT BEAVER???
2) glance over to fiancé laying next to me in bed to see if she can see my iPad screen
3) double check to see if its in gill net
4) once I see its not in the gill net I tell myself " it prolly nothing since its in a public forum"
5) search the site for 3-5 min , but never get the thought of "hot beaver" out of my head.
6) man I should check it , because what if it really is a hot beaver n they just haven't moved the post or maybe the texans are back like they did a few years ago , or maybe there's more than one hot beaver
7) hot beaver hot beaver hot beaver hot beaver hot beaver hot beaver
8) ok simpily couldn't resist so I checked it

Yep, saw that one too! probably cold by now. Saw 2 dead ones about a year ago in the same spot and it was right after high water in that creek too. I don't know what makes them want to get up on the road because of high water.?? You would be surprised where you could run into a beaver or 2.

Not only are the big...... they are very loud when the thumping their tails. Watched one from a deer stand one morning. It was making a little damn on a creek patting the mud down, the next weekend the creek that was dry had about 8" of water in it.
