Seeing Silver 5-2-14

Otis Taylor, Michael Krehel, Courtney Harris, and Grant Bibby joined me today on the big Bluewave. Our first stop had the trout coming in one after another with several double hook ups!! Shrimp Creole Matrix Shad under a cork got the job done. When things slowed down we made a couple moves with no luck. Our fourth stop found silver again and the guys started adding some more nice trout to the K2. Once this bite slowed down we fished one more spot and then went to plan B. Our honey holes that have produced over the last week were dry today. I checked another location and the guys all had bent poles. Reds and puppy drum were coming in the boat every cast for a good five minutes. Then it happened!!! Like a switch the bite shut down. It was stick and move until we threw in the towel!! Good times by all, and it was great to see the trout bite come back to live today. Still no shrimp or birds to be seen, but hopefully it happens soon!!
