Default Big Lake 6-7-11

Had some issues this morning that kept me from getting on the water early but did make it. Finally got to my first spot a little before 8. Water was a little cloudy from that storm yesterday evening but not bad. Bait everywhere!!!!! Started with topwater even though I knew I was prolly a little late for that. Nothing doing on top at my first stop. Decided to leave the crowd and see what the other side of the lake looked like. On the way I came upon a few birds acting fishy but not working real good, decided to give em a shot and it was on. Cast after cast brought fish to the boat. Only bad part was, out of the 11 or 12 I caught right there, just one keeper. Moved on to the second stop and BAM, a keeper!!!! followed by 6-8 more 11-12"ers
Did this one more time before having to head in to meet the wife. Closer to lunch the water really started to clear up and noticed the tide started moving better as I was leaving, just my luck. Still had a fun and relaxing solo trip. Caught 30+ fish but only 3 keepers. The little guys absolutely mangled 2 glow/chart jerk jrs.

didnt have ice on em in the box shot but they were super easy to clean!

Sorry you didn't catch bigger but at least you had a bunch of fish hitting.

Nice! Guess I am the only one that finds it a pain to clean warm trout. Oh well carry on...
