you texas guys put high fences up and feed deer and then charge 5000 grand to shoot it, yeah, that's sporty, that's freaking killing, no hunting involved in that, period

I live in Texas and read 2cool fishing and if u post a pic of a limit there you are treated like a criminal. Here u r a king for the day with a nice stringer(usually).
If W had other days like this he would have posted them. So 2 or 3 days of being on the flounder heavy should be commended. Congrats dude! Wish I were there

Because 99.9% on 2cool are retards

I mean they think you should release every trout over 20inchs and keep no more than 3 fish every trip

It's called they can not fish or catch fish so then let's push for limits of. 5 and we can be cool and post on. 2cool and say
We limited out !!

Lmao

That is about the run down on that site

If I would go post this you would get
#1 raping the resources
#2 what a waist to catch that many
#3 do you really need that many fish
#4 nice catch but I would of only keep 2
#5 that's why y'all will have zero fish in 10 years

If people were doing this every single day of the year we would have problems. But to smash em 2 or 3 times a year ain't hurting ****.

Default Texas Libtard Game Managment

I know DB is just stirring the pot, but Texas is the king of practicing "Feel Good" Game managment laws.

They have a different mindset over there, way more liberal when it comes to this subject.

They think fly fishing for the illusive Sheepshead is an awesome trip.

I worry about sheephead stocks too and think we should put some more restrictive measures on those too. The popularity of sheephead in restaurants and grocery stores may have an impact on the population like the blackened redfish craze did back in the day as well. I want my kids and grandkids to be able to catch sheephead like I do now and hope I can see there faces when they do land their prized sheephead

Default Texans....

You sound like the kinda fellow who has Patagonia stickers on your truck or Prius, Micro Flats boat, and Yeti coolers.

I bet you even have some of them Tibetian flags hanging in your garage.

I would lump in a more rounded dental care system for them as well. When catching and tagging sheepshead my children and I also make it a point to keep plenty of floss handy so we can pass along a nice cleaning before releasing them.

With gum disease and decay having a negative impact on the foraging ability of this species it is extremely important to provide them with the proper education and assistance to ensure healthy dental practices, thus creating and maintaining an optimal level of overall health in the breeding stock.

Floss is very cheap and easy to carry. Hell, if your strapped for cash there is nothing wrong with using 10lb mono.

Fresh Cleaning (the smile says it all)

one has to also think about the imbalance of the ecosystem if sheephead are overfished. The barnacle population may explode. This is what those leading biologists at Texas A&M tell me
