Default Big Lake 7/29
Fished West Cove yesterday morning.....started at the south entrance where some birds were working and picked up a couple of trout and A TON OF LADYFISH......made our way into west cove and finished the day on the south bank.....12 trout and 5 reds

Most caught on glow/chart. sand eels and jerk jrs and my buddies girlfriend caught some on live shrimp but most of those were either too small or ladyfish......lake looked great and was slick as owl **** most of the day.

Nice catch........Was in L.C. yesterday staying at the casino to give us a break in my trip to Houston to see the Astros tonight.....the water by the casino was very calm and when we left L.C. around 9am it was still calm. Hope to hit it next week.

yea, i'm the same way with BL, don't know the area to well other then turners, pretty much only time i go out to BL is with my friend Chris Evans, he knows BL very well and good luck to you also.
