Heard the Reds were plentiful but the Specs hard to find today @ BL. I'm sure the Regulars could have found them tho. No mention of Flounder.

Went to catch some skrimps yesterday then trailered the boat to Cameron to beat the bank for flounder. Fished for about hour and a half maybe two. Water was muddy from Oyster bayou to the flats past pogie plant. No flounder. half big dozen hard heads, two large Gaftop and 1 red about 24" long. Fished gulp tipped with a pinch of shrimp.

Southeast part of the Big Lake didn't look bad this evening. (stained but not muddy) Got on the water pretty late and had to run all the way around the storm that popped up and was only able to fish about 15 minutes. Looks good enough for me to try it again in the morning.

Good luck to everybody venturing out in the morning. I hope I see you on the water.

Started out at the Hammock=Gaff Top, water too cloudy, Went to Blue point water better=Gaff Top, went on over to Mudd, Good wind, worked the current line, prob not doing it right, but got on a steady bite till sunset mostly specs some white. Best of all no boats bothered us. Fish were biting really light, after lost four in row trying to sling in, just got out the net to take some home.
