Default finally getting out

planning on fishing north end tomorrow, probably launch at prien or calc pt.
Im sure its been fresh and dirty, but finally got a chance to get out.
Does all this fresh water push out bait fish too? Thought id try to catch some pogies but wasnt sure if theyd be gone.
Might have to beat the banks for some reds or flounder.
Anyone had any luck doing that from calc pt north?

We went out today. My fiancé picked up a croker and a flounder on shrimp. I came home empty handed. We went to Long Point, Texaco cut, and a few cuts along the salt ditch and Black Lake. The water on the west end of black lake was the clearest. Pretty nasty water everywhere else. Talked to a few guys at the launch and it didn't sound like they did any better.
