My son kyle and I got on some solid fish about 3 Novembers ago in weeks bay. We had a one man limit with a 6, two 5.5's and a 5 and quite a few 3's and 4's. Caught all of the biggest ones in about 20 minutes of each other. Had a few during the same time that broke off that never got to the top of the water. Wouldn't mind finding another school like that.

That would be a nod to the cyclical theory.
Sometimes they big here. Sometimes they big over there.

I think its crazy how the bay goes from a here and there spot then the next weekend its on fire and its like the fish have arrived! I'd like to find the path that they take in and out the bay! You would think the pass, but I've never smoked nice trout in there it seems they are ALWAYS on the smaller side.

But has anyone noticed how we haven't had birds really working over the last two years. Usually they area always working in the hammock and around the point, at least at the beginning of fall when the white trout are thick. I haven't seen that in two years. I'm about to head to big lake just to be a part of that, so much fun watching the trout crush the shrimp and jump out the water after them!

Never caught any that size in the bay but have had a couple of trips outside the pass where we caught limits of 3-7lb trout.

This was 15+ years ago.

Not gonna happen bro. I'll storm the capital if it's proposed!

BTW, is there a "Bay record" like at Big Lake?
