Default Big Lake Thursday afternoon

Fished Big Lake this afternoon and wound up with 8 keeper trout on south end of lake with live shrimp.
Solunar table thread had me thinking, so I fished according to their times. It may have been a fluke but I will say I caught almost all my fish in about a ten minute span, the end of one of the "good fishing times" on the table. Then they just turned off. I picked up one random keeper an hour later and a few throw backs but that table has me hooked.
Fishing the next three days will post findings.

Nice work. The tables are a good tool. I try not to be running somewhere while the best bites are predicted. I try to be in the best area with the right signs and reading the water at the right time. Can still catch fish when it's not the right time... just the best bites seem to correlate strongly with it.

have fun.

I fised big lake yesterday from 4-8pm, caught 1 trout. The redfish were so thick at the Wiers that I was hitting them in the head with the bait. They wouldn't even bite. I tried live mullet, artificial's and they wouldn't take anything. How do you get behind the weir? Looks like a good place to catch bait. I went out to the jetties and caught a few undersized trout. But it was a beautiful day . The water was real nice
