Default Big Lake - Last week report

Sorry for late report. Fished BL solo for the first time last Thurs and Fri, and here's what I found:

THURS 8/13: S. end of lake found some deeper water and caught 8 trout, all between 16"-22" on live shrimp. N winds and outgoing tides, but the solunar table had em biting between 12:30-2:30 pm. Caught all fish between 2:30 and 2:45 pm

FRI 8/14: Turner's early, tried birds with live shrimp, all lady fish. Should've tried plastics. Went South and hit S. end of lake again, caught 15 trout, two 24" and many over 18" live shrimp. N/NE wind, outgoing tide starting around 2pm, solunar table had em biting from 115pm-315pm, but I caught em all between 11am - 1 pm.

...then had some friends come in for weekend and the weather changed some....

SAT 8/15: Fished SE end of lake early, caught 15 smaller trout and a couple reds live shrimp. S/SE winds, smaller tide movement. Later ran to S end of lake and S wind didn't agree with it, picked up a few more fish and headed in about 2 everyone was worn out.

SUN 8/16: Late start but ran to jetties, sharks all over the outside W. cut. S/SE winds despite forecast of N winds. Not much tide movement. Moved inside and north a bit, gaftops and junk. Didn't fish for but 2 hours or so, had to leave, poorly-planned fishing day.

...will try to post pics but having some trouble.
Still learning the lake and how to get around, but thank God for the forums because without the help who knows how it would've gone!

Good report. I fished Friday morning and started out in Turners and it was nothing but ladyfish as you mentioned and I was fishing with artificials, so I moved on. I fished the south end of the lake, Joes Cove, and on the SE side and found a bunch of dinks but it was fun anyhow. Caught a bunch on topwater too so that was fun.

I ran to turners late Sunday morning. This is the only trout I found. Ate a mirrodine
