Well we wound up trying a place called "Zen"................all I can say is friggen awesome. That is probably the best sushi in Houma or the surrounding areas. I will definitely be back soon.

I love Sushi too, my wife does not so we mostly go to Samuri Dragon so she can eat Chiniese and I can eat Sushi. I'll be by myself today, I have to go to my Maw Maws in Chauvin so I'll stop and eat at the one on the East side of town on my way home.

True.

Took Sweetie, my LSU daughter, and Sweetie's god child for Sushi last night: Miyako on Westheimer. A landmark. Had a New York Maki: Fried Shimp, avacodo, crabmeat 8 piece roll, covered in rice and snowcrab with a chili/mayo drizzle. Freekin' awesome...had to order a second helping...along with another sake...

panda chinese buffet in lake charles has some pretty good sushi for a all you can eat buffet , $8 for lunch can't beat it to get that sushi fix...you can ask the guy to make you special rolls also.....trick is to go during lunch or dinner hours.. preferable at the start of them for the freshest.

I don't like the sushi on the buffet's.
I like the ones that they roll in front of you.
I like all the Japanese places in Lake Charles.
The one in the mall has a couple good rolls too.
I like the Charlie's Roll and the LA Crunch rolls.
They are a little spicy, just right.

If ever any of you guys are in the New Iberia area, go to Bojangle's downtown. They have a Mt. Fuji roll that is outta this world!! It has the shredded crab meat piled on top with some strips of baked fish layed on top of that then they drizzle some sauce on it, MMMMM MM MMMMMMMMMMM good!!!!

Not me the more raw the better. My favorite is Salmon, Yellowfin, Bbq Eel, Tuna, Octopus and Whitefish. I like avocado in mine with rice paper not seaweed.
