FlagUS Catching pogies where?

Where can you catch pogies around big lake when the water is fresh like this?
Any canals or drains in the area or pointers anyone could share?

I actually wouldn't mind a little input on the situation either. Shad are by far my favorite bait

I've caught them around the Jetties several times.

Besides the spots I send in the PM......

As you leave Calcasieu Pt land, there are rocks along the south side of the ICWW down by the Calcasieu ship channel and along the ship channel. Look for schools of bait fish in this area.

Go to the Cameron ferry but don't cross. Take a right on Wakefield Rd. You will come to a bridge over a canal that leads to the ship channel. Take a right into the parking lot and go to the end where the gate is. Throw a cast net in the canal. Reap the rewards.

Thanks guys. Didn't find much bait yesterday as it was all fresh and muddy up north. I did find a few of these tiny bait fish but nothing was feeding on them. But last time I saw some fish crashing schools of em and caught flounder around them. They're tiny
