Default Newbie

Well guys, found this site the other day through a friend, and looks to be "USER FRIENDLY", so thought I'd post a little report from last Saturday. We, my two sons and future son-in-law hunt mainly the Wax, I've hunted it for the last 15 plus years, Saturday started real foggy, didn't leave the landing till well after daylight made it to the spot got set up and waited on the fog to lift at 10:00AM it was gone, and it was crazy with birds for the 1st hour of clear, but the birds wanted nothing to do with decoys********>, as usual we waited them out and ended with 6 mallards, two teal, 1-Can, and 1-BJ........ High light of the day was my future son-in-law shot his first green head, he was pumped up, and a circus shot I made on another green head, still wondering how I killed that one LMAO. Had big engine trouble Sunday morning had to idle all the way back to landing, normal 40 min boat ride was an agonizing 3 hours.......... Arrrgghhhh, but we made it in safely and that's all that counts. Here's a couple of pics.

yeah I think of all the times I didn't catch fish or get a kill and it makes me appreciate the times that I do catch a limit or make a kill!

Nice report and welcome to the site!
