Default New years eve hunt

Me, Calcutta & 2 other freinds set out to make a hunt in Gueydan this morning.Arrived with a stiff south wind 15 mph gusting 25 @ 65 degrees. Birds started moving around the minute we stepped in the blind, picked up teal here and there with a specklebelly mixed in. Some specks wanted to come right in but other wouldnt even look at us. Pintail are everywhere but had other things on their minds. Finished the hunt with 3 specks,8 teal,a greenhead and one happy duck. Oh yeah forgot one merganser. Hopefully I can get my hearing back out of my right ear after listening to those ten gauges ringing all morning.Wasn't a bad morning, better than the last hunt I had. (Scratch)

Apparently a 12 guage with a ported barrel isn't the greatest thing in a box blind either...I got yelled at all morning when we went to Kaplan a while back! LOL

Thanks Shellman I didn't even bring any birds home. I'm going stay at the camp next week so hopefully we can get on them again.
