If you think it's scripted now, wait until they start getting in the ratings and figure out what is most popular about the show. That's when they really start figuring out how to over-emphasize those aspects of the show. That's been my observation over the years regarding these types of shows. I fancy myself an expert in the area of sociology in tv and movie.

Oh, and Willie, I hope this doens't offend you but your old lady...
I mean that in the nicest way possible...

It is 100% reality show. Fake reality that is, but hilarious none the less. There mannerisms haven't changed in 20 years.

I thought that was southern Indiana?

I caught this show last night and it was worth watching. I thought of the Brady Bunch when Willie was using the Jugs machine to throw footballs at his wife.

New Orleans = even though there are God-fearing people there (politically correct disclaimer), maybe not so much God's country. Not the one in the Bible anyhow.

I did notice though that before the snake, the camera man was in the boat. During the mysterious snake fall out of the tree moment, the camera man was in the other boat. Jase and Phil looked like they could care less if the snake was in the boat or not. Just saying.
