Cheers Beat the Rain Trout Slam 12-21

Good customer Danny Lirette from Houma was back with me today with family. We knew we had about a four hour window to get it done this morning before the front hit us. Our first stop in a protected area gave up 40 trout before we had to make a move. C-Sea Shad and Shrimp Creole two feet under a cork and Green Hornet tight lined worked their magic. When the bite was over we moved into the lake and hit a good point with moving water. As soon as we pulled up the corks started to disappear and nice trout were coming over the gunnels. One after another they continued to hit the K2. Once the radar showed the rain upon us and it started to drizzle, it was time to roll out. We made it back to the lodge to clean fish before the heavy rain hit. Good times putting a good quick lick on the fish. The kids had a great time. Thanks again Danny for the continued business.
