Default Vermillion Bay 9-14

Went fishing yesterday a new place to me. I think they call it "The Shag"; that's what my nephew said. We caught 2 reds and alot of hardheads. We then went to the mouth of the Avery caught 2 more reds and a mix of other things (Sheephead, drum, hardheads, sand-trout). We fished from about 10 am to about 5 pm. When we got to the mouth of the Avery a nice fellow told my brother in law about his spot he was about to leave. He said he limited out on Reds and caught a nice Spec. Seems there was a certain hole in that spot. I fished next to my brother in laws boat I didn't catch nothing but Sailcats. He caught some nice fish. I had fun though but I wish I would have caught more!

The Shag is actually Bayou Chene or just "The Chene" as we call it.
