Default Rookie Mistakes of Owning a Boat

My cousin just bought his first boat this week. He thought it would be fun to go Lauberge in his boat. The only problem is he forgot about the thing called out going tide. I'm pretty sure someone on here saw that and had a good laugh. He said an airboat was coming to try to rescue him. I wanted him to video them getting back in the water but he said it was to dark. Me and my gf(at the time) went camping on deer island in biloxi. Once I got there I remembered I forgot to check the tide. So I pulled my boat almost all the way up on the bank (15' skiff). Dragged the anchor all the way up the bank amd buried it just to be safe. Well where we decided to camp at we couldnt really see the boat. The next morning I woke up to check on the boat and there was about 8' of sand behind it which wasnt too bad I just grabbed the nose and spun it around. It took some pushing but I got it fre
