Anybody got any duck reports from the Calcasieu River?

If they do, you will not read about it on here.

Duck hunting on the river has enough pressure without advertising but if you can find an area with little to no pressure then I would recommend you set up and hunt it.

I've tried years ago and never killed anything. Really had no idea what I was doing but didn't even see anything. I've heard of people killing on the river before its just been a while since I've heard anything and was curious.

Most of the good areas (swamp) are leased up.

Find a skinny part of the river with no traffic and set up on a point with a few dekes.
