Default Good BL trip 6/22

Had a blast on the lake today! Picked up some trout here and there and finally found the motherload blowing skrimps outta the water. Had not 1 but 2 boats run right over the school after observing me waving them around. It never ceases to amaze me, the idiots we have on this prime piece of water! The fishing gods shined on us thou as we were able to finish our limit.

It is a fact of life on b/l. If you fish birds you can't get to p/o about potlickers. It will happen and you just have to learn to live with it. Had a guy in a bass boat run his boat almost thru a flock of birds we were fishing in the wind last friday. I can only imagine he did it on purpose cause he had nothing but lake to the south of him and he came from about a mile off and ran right on the edge of the birds. I don't think he hurt anything cause it was a bunch of whitteys. Non the less you will have to tie your heart and let it be.

I had 2 guide boats sandwich a set of birds I was on and ran the birds and fish off.
You would think a guide would know a little bit about coming in or birds.
They didn't throw into the flock, they trolled into the flock then cast.
One boat was a black and white Haynie, the other one didn't have a brand name on it.
Once they scared the birds off, they hollered at each other trying to figure out where
to go next. Pity the paying fishermen in those boats.

Yea Ray I saw that guide in the Haynie, a real Jerk Sr, not a Jerk Jr.
