Very nice.
I still got a buttload in my freezer from the winter.
I am gonna target some crabs this weekend.
My wife is griping about the lack of crabs I got her this year.

How many different places do you need?Ive hammered them from Ole river in prein lake to the Cameron jetty's. Alway's carry a couple drop nets.Oh yes I too caught many flounder before duck season but house hold will put a hurtin on bag of fried flounder. So it was time to make a run. Good crabbing to ya.

2 Weeks ago.....I put out a couple of drop lines @ the SWB and after ~ 5 minutes I had not caught any crabs. I did not try crabbing anywhere else that day.

Really? I sat in the marsh throwing tops, and considering since the water's 2 ft and gem clear, I think i counted atleast 1 1/2 dozen in one area around my boat all spread out.

After thinking some......this was about a month ago that I tried cabbing at the SWB. Maybe the crabs have moved into this area now.

Fool's right today i fished at the train crossing just north of I-10 bridge . My first 6 trout went in drop net's. believe or not I madetwo more cast and caught two more trout; decided to check net's; only we're crab's but most of the bait was diffently attacked. made a few more cast and caught enough to rebait net's. Quit fishing and filled a70 quart ice chest with#1 crabs (all males). A #1 crab is one At least 7" point to point. So to valadate Fool's story I would not doubt that there probablyare crab's at fool's new wharf.
