Default Not too bad a morning...

Finally able to get out to Point aux Chene again...14 trout 2 reds made it in the boat , 3 lost....Fish were scattered close around launch till tide quit about 10 or so....Gulp under a cork...

I've been wanting to take the paddleboards to pinte aux chenes for some fishing any pointers would be greatly appreciated

I never went no further than 2 miles from the launch , Isle Jean Charles...If you go left out the launch you can take a right close by and it will put you in protected water full of canals and cuts....If you go right out the launch you in the main drag for about half mile south and you can access same waters easterly...I only fish white gulp 18 inch under stopper year round but it's just a preference of what you like to fish...Off the main bayou it's pretty much eroded shallow water....I fish up a few deeper cuts and canals I come to know...
