Default No ducks so we killed something else

didnt even get to kill a duck this weekend after hunting saturday and sunday where are all the birds? still high water, guess im hunting johnsons bayou wednesday through the weekend vinton sucks

The H20 was so hight in GC this am the dog was swimming in the pond retreiving ducks.

green thing? must be shock collar transmitter to stop the dog if a gator is coming his way, I've been hunting in vinton off sabine river west of the burn out bridge, normally real good first split then nothing, this year its just nothing, had birds during dove season but now none to be seen anywhere not even in the distance and no shooting. Thanks fool for the lab comment i like him just wish i didnt have to bring the bumper for him to do some retrieving in the blind. Dog always has to swim in our marsh they are deep, about 3 feet in places.

fool I was hoping to invite you on a trip over holidays but no ducks so i need to revamp my plan to find ducks gonna hit my johnsons bayou lease hot and heavy wednesday for the first time this year

yeah let me find some ducks first, if the JB lease doesnt pan out may have to go to the ole stompin grounds at the refuge...its been a good 5 or 6 years since ive been there though and we've had two hurricanes since id have to go scout one day

my supervisor hunts somewhere off of little cheniere road and they have been doing well i dont know what the deal is at our place in vinton ducks just decided to not show up during duck season

I hate when them Miller ducks make it to the marsh!!! Its always a headache when your killing them good!!!

I left early..


Nothing but wood ducks. All stayed Wayyyy out of shotgun reach. And calling a wood duck to turn back, doesn't happen often
