Finally got to get out there with some buddies of mine. Limited on red snapper, found a rip with some chicken dolphin, an almaco jack, and a triggerfish. It was a great day, fantastic weather, calmest seas and clearest water i've ever seen... that's not saying much though because i'm used to the "vermuddy bay", anyway we had a great day.

We started the day 70 or so miles went out to about 80 and then worked our way back. Caught snapper all the way to about 40 miles out, they are everywhere, hard to get to any other kind of fish the snapper just eat everything you drop ( jigs or cut bait). Sharks are everywhere too. We broke off on 1 giant ling at the 40 mile platform. He was one of 4 giants that came up to see what we were doing. Also got to watch some huge barracuda, and broke off on one of them as well.
