Well Asterisk-Rich and myself hit the lake at daylight and it was smooth as glass. Had our limit by 10am and 3 reds. every fish b/w 15 and 20 inches. then we decided to go and try to catch some big fish. but on the way something went wrong. something with the lower unit i think but i really have no idea. it just came roaring to a stop when i was wide open and now my prop won't even spin. if i put it in reverse it makes a loud crunching sound. got towed back to calc point by sheriff dept!

Well notice he has a diff shirt on in both pics cause while cranking my boat up on trailer, my strap busted. He re-tied the strap to hook . And while pulling it tight his Knot gave free and he fell in the water at calc point. Poor ole neg!

NIce catch! We went by Long Point today at 11 and it was standing room only with the waders and boats! 1 keeper red (new avatar), couple of flounder and a few rat reds. No trout for us today! Water looked good as July to the South.

Took the 2 boys with me Sat and hit every spot on south end.Picked up alot of rat reds,1nice flat fish, but no speck.Threw everything i could think of.Had alot of boats on south end in mid morning hours and very few by late afternoon.I just cant believe that no one came zippin by doing mach-1 while we were fishing. The wiers were stacked as long point was.Man the people were reeling in sheephead at the river launch.Heck all the fish must be on north end!
