Default Red-Fishing the Marsh around Spicer's Landing?

I am new to fishing the Big Lake area and had the opportunity to marsh fish in and around Spicer's Landing, beyond the bridge, on memorial day. We did not do very well, but the water was clear and the current was steadily holding bait fish. Is this a good area to fish? Also, if anyone could provide any information on productive ways to avoid striking out when the water in the lake is muddy, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

A good starting point is to get a Hook N Line map. Then I would invest some ching, and hire a guide or two. The more you go with them, the more you will learn. You will start building you knowledge base and have many more options when certain areas turn off. Good Luck.
