Default Fresh water coming to Prien Area

I had about 7" rain at the house in Moss Bluff the past 3 days. How bad will the fishing be in town and how long will it take to get salty again?

Salinity, water, unfiltered, parts per thousand Most recent instantaneous value: 5.5 10-01-2012 15:00 CDT

With moon phase and incoming tide upcoming..... it will be when the N wind quits blowing and switches directions. Then about another day thereafter and the fishing should be fine. In prien, you can almost tell the salinity level from the water tint. Marsh color means good salinity. Calcasieu river color means exactly that ..... the river is all in prien LOL
