Default Painting my aluminum boat: Any tips?

About ready to paint my boat, nothing to fancy. Just wondering if any of you guys have some tips or shortcuts you can share??

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Duralux brand paint (Trahan's has it), scotchbrite pads and allot of mineral spirits...

Pressure wash and then degrease the whole boat, scuff every nook and cranny with scotch brite pads (you will go thru several) and then pressure wash it again and douche the whole thing down real good with mineral spirits...

You can either roll or spray the Duralux paints, its good stuff, easy to shoot and looks as good as a factory paint job when done... (Duckboat Drab was our favorite color)

I have done several air boats, mud boats, pirouges, flats , ect. and this process works well...

Good prep is the key, cant stress this enough...
