Default 3.5 inch shells

How many of you guys actually shoot 3.5 inch shells compared to 3s and 2 3/4? Im trying to decide weather to drop an extra hundred on a bps for the 3.5 inch option.

IMO you don't really need it for ducks but it's a nice option to have for geese or even turkey if you turkey hunt.

Its All I Shoot ,except during teal season I would shoot 3" . Better to have it and not need it ,than need it and not have it.

Yeah just cause it can chamber the 3.5 you can still shoot 2 3/4 and 3". Nice to know if you need the knock down power you have it. Kinda like having a 4x4 truck, might not use it often but nice to know it is available when you need it.

In my opinion 3.5" is pointless. Most people think just because you have 3.5 you can shoot further which is not true. Only thing 3.5 has is more bbs. I shoot whatever is cheapest. Killed close to 200 specks last year wit 2 3/4" #4s. I have a junky ol nova that I won that I turkey hunt wit and I use 3.5s for that just for the extra bbs. But if u are strictly duck and goose huntin it's pointless waste of money. Decoyin ducks and geese = whatevers cheapest. 3.5" shells are the cause for most skybustin now days.

I have shot both but I would never go back to a gun that would shot just 2 3/4 and 3 inch. The little bit of extra money that is spend on the 3 1/2 is worth it. Its their when you need it and I have used mine more that what I have thought.

Go for the 3.5". I have the 3" with the 28" barrel, an a friend of mine just got the 3.5" with the 26" barrel and he loves it. The weight is about the same and it's defenatly worth the little extra cost.

I shoot the browning bps in 3.5 and I love it! We have a goose blind. Early mornin, first 20 min of huntin, I put 2 3/4 in for the early duck shoot. Then once they stop flyin I load up the 3.5 triple bb for the geese. Awesome being able to do that.

All I use it 3.5's We mainly hunt in da swamp,so extra bb's is always helpful shooting through branches and trees. Also helpful killing cripples on da water.
